Jaymes’s Review:

I really wanted to read Star Search by J.S. Moribus after reading the blurb because the premise of the story was intriguing. As I read Star and Joe’s journey, there were times I wanted to smack Joe, mostly for some of his decisions. Joe and Star spend one incredible night together and almost lose each other in the process. In his desire to spend more time with Star and potentially develop a relationship, Joe goes on a dangerous journey into the seedier side of the escort business to reclaim the woman who has stolen his heart. However, it's what happens on his quest to find the woman he's totally enomored with that left me scratching my head and a bit confused.

Star is so surprised by Joe’s treatment of her that she decides to leave the business only to be forced into a worse situation by her boss. It was obvious that these two wanted to be together, so I couldn't help but root for Joe and Star, even though there were moments when I felt things were going a little too fast. Although I stumbled across some minor editing issues, they weren't deterimental to the plot or flow of the story. Overall, Star Search was a good story with characters you wanted to see happy. I look forward to reading more by J.S. Moribus.
